Congress will not fight on the symbol, municipal elections, decision after meeting in Delhi

Congress will not contest on the symbol on the municipal elections going to be held on December 16 in five districts of Haryana. The decision was taken after meeting in New Delhi Congress Center in Gurudwara Rakabganj Marg. After a meeting led by Congress leader PC Chacko, the statement made that the Congress will not contest on the symbol in the municipal elections being held in Haryana.

Former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda, Congress state president Ashok Tanwar, MLA’s leader Kiran Chaudhary, former union minister Kumari Selja, MP Deepender Hooda were present in the meeting. Congress state president Ashok Tanwar was in favor of contesting the election on the Symbles, but after the objections of the other leaders, it was decided to not contest the election symbol.
