CBSE files FIR against YouTube channels for uploading false paper leak videos

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has filed an FIR against YouTube channels falsely claiming that they have access to original question paper of upcoming annual CBSE exams, said a statement from the Board.

The board is currently conducting annual examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 students across India and abroad, the YouTube channels have uploaded fake question papers of subjects in which examinations are yet to be conducted like accountancy, chemistry, geography paper of class 12 and English, mathematics, science papers of Class 10.

Steps taken by the CBSE Board against the fake videos on YouTube

According to the statement of Board, they have also requested Delhi Police in writing to take suitable and strict action against miscreants under provisions of IPC and IT Act, so that the examinations are conducted smoothly and all the measures taken by the Board for security concern is not adversely affected.

Since February 15, 2019, CBSE has conducted exams in 136 subjects so far.

Instructions by the CBSE Board

The CBSE Board's Public Relation Officer Rama Sharma said that the Board had also released instructions to all the students and parents to be aware of fake news regarding the paper leak, the fake question paper are made available on the various social media platform to create panic and confusion among students.

Ministry of HRD became active on reservation, quota will be available in colleges, 10 lakh seats will increase!

The amendment bill introduced in the Constitution has been passed in the Lok Sabha to give a 10 percent reservation to the 'financially vulnerable' of the general category. After having passed this bill, which has been reserved for the general category, now the Human Resource Development Ministry has to take several steps to implement it in educational institutions.Now the Ministry is also working on the framework for implementing the reservation.

It is being told that the Ministry is now working on how many seats need to be raised in the educational institutions to implement this reservation. Sources say that "no decision has been taken about how the reservation will be implemented now." Although all the universities and educational institutions accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC), whether they are governmental or private, they have to implement the reservation.

Questions asked by the Minister of Education of Maharashtra, so they allegedly gave the order of arrest

A graduate student of Amravati district of Maharashtra has accused the Education Minister Vinod Tawde of ordering him to be arrested at the time when he was recording the conversation between him and a student. The minister has denied the charge. Student Yuvraj Pressad also claimed that due to the alleged order the local police kept him in custody for nearly several hours and seized his smartphone too.Later, the video recording was removed and the smart phone was returned to him.Tawde denied the allegations saying that he did not order the arrest of any student and 'lies' were being spread against him. A top police official in Amravati told that neither the student was arrested, taken into custody and nothing was removed from his mobile.

JEE Main 2019: NTA releases admit card

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday released the admit card for joint entrance examination (JEE) Main 2019 which will be held between January 6 and January 20, 2019. Candidates can download the JEE Main 2019 admit card from official website jeemain.nic.in.

Earlier the exam was conducted by CBSE, but this is the first time that JEE Mains will be conducted by NTA.

The exams will be conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in two shifts - 9:30 am to 12:30 am and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. 

The second JEE Main 2019 exam will be conducted from April 6 to 20, 2019 for which a separate notice will be issued on the official website of NTA.

MHT CET 2019 Exam To Be Online; Syllabus, Marking Scheme Details Here

MHT CET 2019 will be conducted in online mode for the first time in 2019. State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released the syllabus and marking scheme for the Computer Based Test (CBT) MHTCET 2019-20. The State Entrance Cell is yet to release the schedule for the examination. However, based on previous year's trends, the application process is expected to begin in February next year. 

The CBT for MHT CET 2019 will have three papers. Paper I will be Mathematics which will have 50 questions carrying 2 marks each thus making the total 100 marks, paper II will be Physics and Chemistry, and Paper III will be Biology (Zoology and Botany). Each paper will carry 100 marks and will have objective questions. In case of Paper II and III, there would 100 objective questions carrying 1 mark each. 

There will be no negative marking, however, the difficulty level for mathematics, Physics and Chemistry will be of JEE Main level and the difficulty level for Biology paper will be of NEET UG level.

The questions will be based on the syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. Approximately 20% weightage will be given to class 11th syllabus and 80% weightage will be given to class 12th syllabus.
