SC pulls up States for delay in recruitment of judges.

The Supreme Court on Thursday pulled up various State governments and the administrative side of the High Courts for a delay in filling vacancies in subordinate judicial services.“We want our judges. We will put them in their posts, and if they cannot work, it is because the government is not giving them the infrastructure... Enough is enough,” Chief Justice Gogoi said. The Supreme Court had earlier warned of centralising appointments to the subordinate judiciary.
