AAP seiges the BJP office, demanding the full state status for Delhi
Prior to the Lok Sabha elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) surrounded the BJP's national office on Deendayal Upadhyay Marg on Sunday demanding full state demand for Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party alleges that Delhi convener Gopal Rai had written a letter to the Delhi BJP and Delhi Congress president asking for his favor on the entire state but no one got any response from both the parties.
The Aam Aadmi Party claims that if Delhi gets the status of a complete state then the work of development will increase. Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal had counted the 11 benefits of the entire state by writing a letter to the people of Delhi.
AAP did not have the full state counted during the performance of three major losses-
1. Today in Delhi women are very serious about their safety but the Delhi government is helpless because the law and order come under the central government.
2. Despite the introduction of 90 percent of the students in Delhi today, admission in Delhi colleges is not available as Delhi Government is unable to make new colleges due to lack of colleges and due to lack of full statehood.
3. Today, the educated young people of Delhi are roaming unemployed. Lakhs of vacancies are lying vacant in the Delhi Government but due to lack of full state status, the right to employ the youth is not with the Delhi Government but the Central Government has it.
The Aam Aadmi Party says that the central government has repeatedly demanded the status of full state status to the central government but the central government has not given any attention to their demand. The 'A' workers present in the demonstration said that Delhi is the half incomplete state, due to this, the government of Delhi has not received all the powers and therefore full development of Delhi is not being done.
Before coming to power, the Aam Aadmi Party has been demanding full statehood to Delhi. The leaders of 'AAP' have alleged that BJP and Congress have forgotten the promise of making Delhi a complete state in its Manifesto.
Do you think Delhi should get full state status?
