Delhi Congress, split into two factions, some is opposing and some is in favor of the coalition alliance with AAP

Once again, coalition politics has made headlines in the battle of Lok Sabha elections in 2019. The biggest drag on the alliance is going on in the capital Delhi. A section of the Congress is in favor of combating the Aam Aadmi Party, while the other is opposing it. Monday, Congress President Rahul Gandhi can take a final decision on this issue.

On Monday, Congress President Rahul Gandhi held a meeting with Congress leaders in Delhi, in which local leaders told Rahul Gandhi about the alliance with the AAP. Delhi Congress’s state president Sheila Dikshit is opposing it, while the former president Ajay Maken is in favor of the coalition.

In charge PC Chacko, co-charge Kuljeet Nagra, former state president Ajay Maken, Arvinder Singh Lovely, Subhash Chopra, are in favor of the Tabor Babar Coalition. The leaders of the three MCD of Delhi, the President of 14 districts, are in favor of the alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party.

State President Sheela Dikshit, Executive President Haroon Yusuf, Rajesh Lelothia, Devendra Yadav, JP Agrawal and the Yoganand Shastri are opposing the Coalition.

Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi has given his letter to all the leaders, after which Rahul Gandhi can tell his decision this evening. A total of 5 leaders have supported the coalition, so the 6 leaders have opposed.

Significantly, the Aam Aadmi Party’s side has been invited to combine with the Congress many times. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has also told many public forums that if Congress has to beat the Bharatiya Janata Party then it is necessary that the Congress-AAP combine a coalition. However, the Congress had earlier refused to combine with AAP.
