Budget 2019: Income tax free up to 5 Lakh

Modi Government has increased the income tax limit from 2.5 lakh rupees to 5 lakh rupees. This is the second biggest bet of Modi Government after the general reservation before the Lok Sabha elections. For the last 5 years, the people of the country were expecting a concession from the government on the tax front, and the government too did not expect them.

In fact, according to the new announcement, people will not have to pay any tax on earning up to Rs 5 lakh. So far, the income of Rs 2.5 lakh and up to Rs 5 lakh was to be given to 5 percent income tax, which has now been abolished. That is, those whose income is more than Rs. 5 lakhs, they will have to pay the tax as per the old tax slab.

How much will it be?

Before the new announcement, the income of 5 lakh rupees had to be paid 5 percent income tax. If someone was earning more than two and a half lakh rupees, then he had to pay a tax of Rs 12,500. That is, now the people of income from at least 2.5 lakh to 5 lakh rupees are going to be saved every year for 12,500 rupees.

Piyush Goyal said that the tax exemption would get 30 million middle-class taxpayers. According to the new slab, no tax will be levied on the earnings up to Rs 5 lakh. While earning up to Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh, income tax of 20 percent will be applicable. While those earning more than 10 lakh will be charged 30 percent tax. That is, the government has only eliminated the tax slab of 5 percent.

This is also the gift...

Apart from this, the limit of standard deduction brought in the previous budget has also been increased from Rs 40 thousand to Rs 50 thousand rupees. Not only that, no TDS will be paid on interest income up to Rs 40000. In his budget speech, Piyush Goyal said that if you invest in the Provident Fund and other equities, earning up to Rs 6.5 lakh, no tax will be given.

Government achievement

Apart from this, Piyush Goyal said in the budget speech, "The number of tax firms has increased by 80 percent. The tax collection increased to 12 lakh crore rupees. We have simplified the tax filing process, providing 24-hour income tax return processing facility, which took months before. There will no longer be an office for tax assessment.

Discount slab

It is worth noting that earlier income tax exemption of income tax was up to two lakh rupees, which has now been increased. Prior to this announcement, there was no tax on the income earned up to Rs 2.5 lakh in the tax slab. While the income of 2.5 to 5 lakh was taxed at the rate of 5 percent, it has been eliminated. At the same time, 30 percent tax on annual income of Rs 5-10 lakh and an annual income of more than Rs 10 lakhs was taxed and it will still be recovered.

Piyush Goyal said that after filing, 10 million people filed the tax file for the first time. There is a tax of 1 lakh 36 thousand crores of taxation. In the last, Piyush Goyal said that this is not just an interim budget, the medium of development of the country is the medium of travel, the credit for which the country is changing is credited to the countrymen.

Anna Hazare will repeat Hunger Strike from today, know where the battle of Lokpal reached?

Social activist Anna Hazare has announced to stage agitation once again. He will sit on hunger strike in Ralegan Siddhi, in his village Ahmed Nagar district of Maharashtra, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. He targeted the central government on Tuesday and said that the Lokpal law was made for 5 years and the Narendra Modi government continued to cheat for five years. He said, "If Narendra Modi was in the heart of the Government, would it have been necessary for this 5 years?"

Anna said, 'This is not my fast against any person, party and party. This is the kind of movement I have been repeatedly stirring for the good of society and the country. ' Let me tell you that a big movement against the then UPA government on Delhi's Ramlila Maidan under the leadership of Anna Hazare in 2011-12. It is also a special thing that many of the people involved in that movement have now come to the state. Arvind Kejriwal has become the Chief Minister of Delhi, Kiran Bedi has been appointed Governor of Puducherry. Right now, Anna is going to sit on a hunger strike once again. This time, instead of Delhi's place of movement, Anna's own village is Ralegan Siddhi.

Where did the Lokpal fight?

The Lokpal Bill was passed after the big movement in 2013 after a long five-year long exercise in the country. But the Lokpal cannot be appointed till now. The bill passed by the Congress-led UPA government has not been able to form a concrete form yet. While the current government's five-year term is almost nearing completion. The matter is hanging in the Supreme Court. The trial of this case has been postponed for a month and a half. But the way in which the case is currently going on, nothing can be said for sure about how far the government, which is to be elected in the Lok Sabha elections, will go ahead. But the question remains whether the appointment of Lokpal in the new government will be possible or not?

However, it is to be mentioned that on Thursday, the Supreme Court has adjourned the date of March 7 for next hearing on the appointment of Lokpal. Also, the top court has asked the government to report the efforts made for the appointment of Lokpal. The Supreme Court has also directed the Lokpal probe committee to complete the task of selecting the names of the Lokpal and its members until the end of February. Simultaneously, he created a panel of names for the consideration of the selection committee. The Supreme Court also asked the Center to provide the necessary infrastructure for the search committee.

What is the position of Lokpal right now?

Let's say that there has not been any meeting since becoming a committee for the search of the Lokpal. In September last year, the search committee was formed to appoint Lokpal. Earlier, on January 4, the Supreme Court had directed the Central Government to submit an affidavit on all the efforts taken in connection with Lokpal Search Committee since September 2018. In which it is suggested that what steps were taken to constitute the committee The Supreme Court sought this affidavit after the attorney general's response, in which he said that since September 2018, so many efforts have been made to constitute the committee.

Why is Lokpal necessary?

According to the passed bill, the Lokpal has the right to hear complaints of corruption against any public servant from peon to the Prime Minister. Even if he is a minister, government officials, panchayat members, etc. are posted on any post. Ombudsman can even surrender all these properties after the investigation. Under special circumstances, the Lokpal has the right to hear a man's trial and impose up to Rs 2 lakh fine. Although the Indian army is outside the purview of the Lokpal. The Lokpal bill was introduced in the Rajya Sabha on December 13, 2013. Four days later on December 17, 2013, the bill had passed from the Rajya Sabha. The next day, on December 18, 2013, this bill was passed even from the Lok Sabha.

Do you think the appointment of Lokpal in the new government will be possible

Law minister says- Ayodhya case, quickly disposed of, everyone wants to build temple

The Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid case, political upheaval has increased after the Supreme Court again overturned. Now Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has given a big statement on this issue. Ravi Shankar Prasad says that every nation wants that the Ram temple should be built in Ayodhya.

He said that as a citizen, I also want the case which has been hanging for 70 years, its decision should be made as soon as possible. Please tell that before the law minister, saint society has also expressed anger over this issue.

Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi had formed a bench of five judges to hear the Ram temple issue. In addition to Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justice Ashok Bhushan, Justice Abdul Nazir, Justice S. a.Bobde and Justice, DC Chandrachud. The hearing was to be held on January 29, but Justice Bobde went on leave and the hearing was postponed.

Earlier on January 10, the hearing was adjourned. After which, many saints, leaders, and RSS had expressed disappointment. Let us tell you that on Monday, many saints said that their patience was breaking from the ever-increasing date. Ramlal's chief priest says that the matter has been hanging for many years, in this case, the Supreme Court should deal with it as soon as possible.

However, Iqbal Ansari of the Babri Masjid party says that the judge has the right to take a leave, so it is not right to question this. The date has been getting even before, should not question the judicial process.

Significantly, before the Lok Sabha elections, the issue of Ram temple is constantly getting hot. There is constant pressure on the Modi Government for the construction of the temple by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, and its affiliates.

Should Ram Mandir be built as soon as possible

India tests new anti-radiation missile to take out enemy radars

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Thursday claimed to have conducted the maiden test of new generation anti-radiation missile (NGARM) from a fighter aircraft off Odisha coast.

The indigenously developed air-to-surface missile was successfully launched from Indian Air Force’s front-line aircraft Sukhoi-30 MKI. The missile is capable of destroying enemy radars, tracking systems and communication facilities.

NGARM, having a strike range of over 100 km, is the first air-to-surface missile completely designed and developed by DRDO.

“The missile test-fired on January 18 performed as expected. Its seeker, structural integrity, navigation, and control system were validated along with the aerodynamic capabilities,” said a scientist associated with the mission.

The state-of-the-art high-speed missile is first-of-its-kind in the country’s arsenal. It can be launched over a wide range of altitudes. Picking up signals or radiation emitted from the radars or tracking networks from a certain distance, the missile can destroy communication systems.

Radars, tracking apparatuses and other communication facilities of enemies are the first targets during wars. A sensor on the tip of NGARM will pick up radio frequencies and destroy these facilities. The system will give a boost to the armed forces, the scientist said.
The single-stage liquid-propelled system can use dual propulsion depending on the requirement. After completion of developmental trials, it will be integrated with front-line fighter aircraft Sukhoi and multi-role light combat aircraft Tejas.

The weapon boasts of a dual-seeker system comprising passive homing head (PHH) and millimetric wave seeker. The PHH is a wideband receiver system for identification of radiation emitting sources.

Do you think this will strengthen the military power

Akhilesh: Congress to put electoral arithmetic right in UP out of coalition

A common belief in Indian politics is that the country which wins Uttar Pradesh wins the country. After 24 years for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, when the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) announced the alliance after forgetting all their differences, this question began to ask why the Congress is not in this coalition. Taking the curtain from this secret, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has said that Congress was excluded from the alliance to correct electoral arithmetic. If weighing the answer given in the gestures of SP President Akhilesh Yadav, in the statutory math of UP, it will become clear why he said such a thing?

After 30 years in the 2014 General Election, if any party got a majority in the Lok Sabha, the reason for this was that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wrested victory in 71 of the total 80 seats in the UP and the NDA got 73 seats. In these elections, SP, BSP, and Congress had fought alone and the advantage of multinational competition got BJP. But today's political situation is different, and the SP-BSP, which was once against each other, joined hands to stop the BJP's chariot. According to this agreement, SP will contest BSP and 37 seats in 38 seats. While 3 seats for Ajit Singh's National Lok Dal (RLD) were left out. So the seat of Rae Bareli and Amethi has been left for Congress.

Arithmetic was not correct in the 2017 assembly elections

In his interview to a news agency, Akhilesh said that despite all the development works during our tenure, we lost the assembly elections, because the electoral arithmetic was not well. So, we took the BSP and RLD together and left the Congress for 2 seats and corrected the arithmetic. Explain that the SP had an alliance with the Congress in the UP assembly elections. The performance of the two parties in this coalition was extremely poor. Earlier, the BSP has also contested the elections by combine with the Congress in 1996. In these elections, the BSP got the vote for the Congress, but Congress vote was not transferred to the BSP.

Indeed, the impact of Congress, which has weakened in UP, has been limited to some urban areas and upper castes. This is the population who votes against SP-BSP. Therefore, in view of the Congress coalition from these two parties, this vote goes to the BJP (where there is no Congress candidate). While SP-BSP-RLD has organized alliances in the recent Karaana, Phulpur and Gorakhpur by-elections, they have seen that their votes are contested by each other. In such a scenario, the role of Congress does not remain more than the vote cut, which will ultimately benefit both of these parties.

BJP will not get a chance for religious polarization

With all the opposition parties in Uttar Pradesh coming together, it was easy for the BJP to spread that all the parties were gathered to defeat him. The BJP has already been telling the SP and the Congress party of Muslims. In such a way, the plan of polarization of votes by the BJP was successful, which only benefited the BJP. But now it is clear that wherever the Congress wins, the BJP will vote itself, not the coalition.

Congress does not have any caste vote bank

One reason for keeping the Congress away from this alliance is that they do not have a vote bank of any particular caste. While the SP has Yadav-Muslim, the BSP has the influence of Dalit-Muslim and Ajit Singh on the Jat vote in West Uttar Pradesh. Congress supporters are mostly upper caste and urban middle class, which can be called a floating vote. This vote can go to the BJP as an alternative to the Congress, but the SP-BSP is not going to go.

Congress will get chance to fight more seats

If the Congress was involved in the mini-alliance of the SP-BSP-RLD, considering its strength in the state, it does not get as many seats as it wants to fight. Coalition proved this by giving 2 seats of Rae Bareli and Amethi But now Congress can contest elections in more seats. This situation is conducive for both the Congress and the coalition. Because the coalition would want Congress to cut the BJP's vote in more and more seats. While the Congress is excited by the victory in the 3 states of Hindi belt and the biggest state of the Hindi belt is desperate to return to the UP.

In such a state where the top leadership of the Congress is contesting elections, the party will not want to show itself at its lowest level. Therefore, this arithmetic is satisfactory for both the coalition and the Congress.

Should Congress be in this coalition
